It’s good! I love the action and how the story expands the lore of this very strange, violent world.

The driving scenes here are just as astounding as those in Fury Road. The story takes place over years vs days, so the movie, by necessity, has to stop and start with the action. It’s just different.

One notable omission: a friend of a friend after the screening, commented that Furiosa doesn’t spend much time with the wives… she’s right! What a huge missed opportunity, considering how important their relationship is in Fury Road.

Two minor critiques: the visual effect whenever someone is on fire looks surprisingly bad and took me out of the movie a few times. And George Miller shouldn’t have shown clips of Fury Road at the start of the credits — it takes away from Furiosa standing on its own merits.
